Haven Moses Receives 1st Annual Community Service Award from the DBAA

Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Haven Moses has been awarded the first-ever Distinguished Community Service Award by the Denver Broncos Alumni Association for his outstanding contributions to the community. The award recognizes Moses’ unwavering commitment to giving back to others and making a positive impact on people’s lives.

Moses played for the Broncos from 1972 to 1981, and during that time, he established himself as one of the team’s all-time greats. He was a three-time Pro Bowler and a key member of the Broncos’ first-ever Super Bowl team in 1977. But even after retiring from football, Moses continued to make an impact in his community through various philanthropic endeavors.

Over the years, Moses has been involved with numerous organizations and charities, including the Denver Rescue Mission, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and the Special Olympics. He has also worked to promote education and literacy, volunteering at schools and encouraging children to read and pursue their dreams.

Moses’ commitment to giving back has not gone unnoticed, and the Denver Broncos Alumni Association is proud to honor him with this award. “Haven Moses is a true inspiration, both on and off the field,” said Gene Mingo, President of the Alumni Association. “He has dedicated his life to helping others, and we are grateful for his contributions to our community.”

The Distinguished Community Service Award is a new initiative by the Denver Broncos Alumni Association, created to recognize former players who have made a significant impact in their communities. The award will be given out annually, and it is intended to encourage current and future players to follow in Moses’ footsteps and make a positive impact on the world around them.

In receiving this award, Moses joins a distinguished group of Broncos legends who have made significant contributions to their communities. The Alumni Association hopes that this recognition will inspire others to give back and continue the Broncos’ legacy of community service and outreach.

Overall, the Denver Broncos Alumni Association’s decision to honor Haven Moses with the Distinguished Community Service Award is a testament to his outstanding character, dedication, and selflessness. His contributions to the community have made a significant impact, and he serves as a role model for all who aspire to make a positive difference in the world.
