Susie Wargin to Lead the Denver Broncos Alumni Charities Gala as Auctioneer and Emcee
The Denver Broncos Alumni Charities is proud to announce that Susie Wargin—accomplished broadcaster, businesswoman, athlete, and community advocate—will serve as the official Auctioneer and Emcee for this year’s annual fundraising gala. With a dynamic career that spans media, real estate, and sports, Susie brings not only her signature energy and professionalism to the stage, but also a deep connection to Colorado’s culture and the Broncos legacy.
A Career Rooted in Passion and Perseverance
Susie Wargin’s professional journey is as diverse as it is inspiring. A Colorado native, she got her start in radio and quickly became a familiar voice and face in the region. Her radio career has spanned the FM dial from KTCL, KBPI and currently at 103.5 The Fox, where she remains a staple as a rock radio host, connecting listeners with the music and stories they love. She has also been on the AM dial with 850 KOA since 1998 in various roles, most currently as the Denver Broncos Radio Sideline Reporter.
Simultaneously, she made her mark on television, serving over a decade as a sportscaster at 9NEWS (KUSA), covering everything from high school championships to Super Bowls. In 2022, Susie created the podcast “Cut Traded Fired Retired.” Episodes feature professional athletes and coaches with a tie to Colorado. Several Broncos Alumni have been featured on the podcast.
As one of the few women in the country to anchor and report on sports in a major market, Susie consistently broke barriers with her confident reporting style and sports knowledge. Her work has earned her multiple Colorado Broadcaster Awards, an Emmy Award and other accolades within the broadcasting community.
But Susie didn’t stop at media. She pivoted with equal grace into the world of real estate in 2013, where she helps clients buy and sell homes with the same integrity and dedication that defined her broadcasting career. Whether behind a microphone or negotiating a contract, she has always put people and relationships first.
