Denver Police Activities League (PAL)
Programs including the Denver Police Activities League (PAL) are supported by the alumni to help them engage youth through sports such as football to teach them skills that can be used on and off the field as they work to tear down barriers and keep kids from gang activity as they grow up in some of the tougher neighborhoods.
Now generational, the PAL programs has the children of former participants now playing in their leagues, and the foundation for creating a healthier lifestyle continues.
The Denver Police Activities League (PAL) is a non profit charitable organization established in 1969 to provide athletic and other endeavors to Denver youth during high-risk hours, and to be a positive interface between the Denver Police Department and the community.
Denver PAL has a third generation of youngsters participating in our programs. Grandparents are coaching, parents are involved and children continue to need our programs. We see first hand how the positive influence of our activities has changed the lives of those individuals involved.
